It's All in a Name

Blake decided officially yesterday to stop calling us Mommy and Daddy. I am heartbroken. He now refers to us plainly and simply, as "Hey Mom!" "Dad!". I am sure by summer, we will be known to him as Dave and Wendy. Ugh.

Just Like Daddy!

When you are three, and you pee standing up, nothing is cooler than being just like daddy. Big deal. Big deal. It's official, we are now only purchasing one box of Baby wipes from Costco each month, rather than two. Life changing.

Diamonds are a Guys Best Friend

So in early December, I lost my wedding ring. For the past three months, Blake and I have had an ongoing conversation about where it might be. He explained that it might be fun someday to put things down the heater vent. He also told me that sometimes he likes to take my ring and "ROLL IT DOWN THE HALLWAY!!"

It is good to know, that it has now been found, thanks to Dave, and my lack of dusting one area in our house. When I told Blake that I had found it, he burst into tears and colapsed into my arms, stating that he wanted to be the one to find it. (We all love a little glory....) And then when I explained that he couldn't sleep with it tonight, his eyes welled up again. "But Mommy, that diamond there in the center, it helps me to sleep at night." Me too Blake. Me too.

Our New Wagon

Blake and Parker received a new red wagon for Christmas this year. Because of the weight of the wagon, plus 33 lbs of Blake and 22 lbs of Parker, we rarely make it up the hill out of our neighborhood. Going back and forth in front of our house is beyond thrilling at ages 3 and 1.
